Group participates in 7th edition of World Social Forum
Ubuntu Group attended the preliminary session of the 7th edition of the World Social Forum held at Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), Nairobi, Kenya.
The World Social Forum (WSF), an annual global meeting held by members of the movement, aims at coordinating world campaigns, sharing and refining organization strategies, and informing each other about movements from around the world and their issues.
The main forum was held January 2007, and brought the world to Africa as activists, social movements, networks, coalitions and other progressive forces from Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean, North America, Europe and all corners of the African continent converged in Nairobi, Kenya for five days of cultural interaction and celebration.
