Ubuntu Group runs in Stanchart Marathon 2010

Ubuntu Group took part in the 8th edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon, the largest athletic event held in Kenya since 2003. This marks the company’s fifth consecutive participation since 2006.

The Nairobi Marathon has become the signature annual sports event with more participants coming forward to support the worthy cause. The Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is a charity fundraising event, whose proceeds are directed towards the support of Seeing is Believing, a Standard Chartered Bank Global initiative for eradication of avoidable blindness in children under the age of nine years.

Through last year's Marathon, over 750 children have had their sight restored. We at Ubuntu Group hope that this year's Marathon will go to higher heights in restoring sight to more children.
