Ubuntu Group marks third anniversary

The Group marks its third anniversary, celebrated by a steady increase in its market capitalization and shareholder wealth, a broadened directorship & membership base, a diversified & quality investment portfolio backed by consistent long-term research into the Pan-African investments scene.

The financial year 2007/08 was marked by a bearish run in the stock market; this was primarily occasioned by the violence over the disputed elections. Despite impacting negatively on the company’s investment portfolio through the year, this was cushioned by increased shareholder investment that bolstered the company’s capita base.
