The Group purchases financial security issued by a company or financial institution or by the government (as investment to individuals, commercial banks and other institutional investors) as a means of borrowing long - term funds.

These Bonds are normally issued for a fixed number of periods and are repayable on maturity; whereas the practice is to issue bonds in units of a fixed nominal face value and bear a fixed / floating nominal rate of interest.
